What you can expect

Discover the tranquil and pristine beauty of the Dampier Peninsula, located just two hours north of Broome in Western Australia, on an immersive journey led by Jawi woman Rosanna Angus. This marine reserve, part of the remote Kimberley coast, is a rich tapestry of Aboriginal culture and environmental significance.

Embark on a journey through the Middle Passage, an area known for its dramatic whirlpools and powerful tidal waters. Learn how these massive tidal currents, some of the world’s largest, were historically harnessed by the Jawi people for fishing and trade.

Explore the abundant wildlife of the sheltered Buccaneer Archipelago and King Sound, which serve as crucial nurseries for humpback whale calves and three types of dolphins. This experience offers a deep connection to both the cultural heritage and natural wonders of this spectacular marine environment.
